IV International Theater Festival named after Nodar Dumbadze in Guria

The international theater festival named after Nodar Dumbadze was festively ended in Guria. 10-day-long ample cultural occasion witnessed around 30 plays and 700 guests at Ozurgeti State Drama Theatre.

Liberty Theatre, with the play “Samanishvili Stepmother” has become the winner of the festival in nomination for the best performance.

At the closing ceremony, the general sponsor of the project Smart Capital Group and Georgian Chanting Foundation granted the Nodar Dumbadze Special Award and 10 000 GEL prize to the victor of the Festival’s Most Excellent Play nomination.

It has been years since Georgian Chanting Foundation and Smart Capital Group have been partners of various cultural events. Supporting art and popularizing Georgian culture is the core value for Vano Chkhartishvili and Nana Gotua, the founders of “Georgian Chant Foundation”.
